GreenSmart is led by Dr Adrian Zammit PhD, MBA, BSc.Agr (Hons I), GAICD — a surface water specialist, sustainability expert, senior executive and non-executive director with more than 30 years of experience across energy, resources, infrastructure, agriculture and government.
Adrian brings a rare combination of deep technical subject-matter expertise, strategic and commercial insight, and executive and boardroom experience. This perspective underpins GreenSmart's ability to connect technical detail to strategic outcomes — and to help clients navigate their environmental approvals, impacts and disclosures reliably and meaningfully.
He is currently the Chair of Invasive Animals Ltd, Non-Executive Director of Biotext Pty Ltd and Strategic Advisor to Birra Technologies Pty Ltd. He was formerly the Deputy Director General of the NSW Department of Primary Industry and CEO of Landcare NSW, and has founded successful businesses in Australia and Malta.
